WhatsApp increases group chat participants limit to 1,024

The number of people participating in a group chat has increased from 512 to 1,024 thanks to the popular messaging app Whatsapp from Meta.

The new group chat limit will be implemented and available to all Android and iOS users, as discovered by WABetainfo.

Users will now be able to select additional participants to add by using the new number cap, which is now visible in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Businesses and organizations will find it easier to coordinate with clients or coworkers thanks to the new limit. The update came shortly after WhatsApp added a "Call Link" feature for sharing group call information and increased the number of participants in group calls to 32.
