How to Log Into Your Adsense Account in a Few Easy Steps

If you’re an Adsense user, it’s important that you know how to get into your account quickly and effectively when necessary. Luckily, there are some simple methods to access your account that make the process as easy as possible. Here are the steps you need to follow to log in to your Adsense account in no time at all!

Step 1: Check your email

Login to your email account and find the email from Google with the subject Verify your google Adsense account. This is what you'll need to log in. Once you get into your email, find the verification email and click on it. After clicking on it, you will be taken to a webpage that has an input box that says Enter code. You will see the code at the top of your verification email. Copy this code and paste it into the input box. If everything goes according to plan, after pasting in this code, you will be given access to Google Adsense!

Step 2: Input your information

Input your email address and password. You will be taken to a page that has tabs on it: Home, Earnings and Payments, Videos, Campaigns, My Ads, Preferences, and Settings. The first tab is Home. This is where you can see how many clicks you've had on your ads this month (and the last month), what your earnings are for the current month (and last month) and how much money you have in your account. If you want to see your earnings from yesterday alone or from any other day go back one day with the arrows next to Yesterday or Today.

Step 3: Check your dashboard

Now that you are logged into your account, you will see an overview page with your username at the top. Use the navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen to explore all of the features and functions that this account has to offer. The dashboard has tabs for different sections: Earnings, Campaigns, Reports, Settings, and Links. Click on any tab and go through each section so that you know how it works.

Step 4: Allow location access

Adsense has access to your location and will use it for certain types of advertising. For example, if you search for hotels on Google, ads with hotels near you will appear. It may seem like an invasion of privacy, but it's necessary for the ad network to show the most relevant ads based on where you are. If you don't want Google to track your location, then go into Settings and turn off Location Access.

Step 5: Take note of your earnings

You will also want to take note of your earnings. If you go back and look at your earnings for the past few months, you'll be able to see if there are any trends. For example, if you notice that most of the time you make more money in March, then set aside some time during the beginning of March each year to do something productive with your website. Doing this will help keep your business running smoothly and save time spent trying to figure out what's going on when it doesn't work as well as it should.
